Sweeney Reserve Football Pavilion This project is located in an open sporting precinct adjacent located between a major traffic highway and a housing estate. With this in mind the design concept was to create a functional pavilion that would service two football pitches, four teams, officials, as well as covered space for parents to get out of the weather while still being able to watch the sporting pursuits of the children. The success of this project is the creation of an elevated viewing area while not creating a building that is monumental in scale in relation to the scale of the surrounding residential properties.
